Fast-8 / Silver-8 Magnum baffles Quarter sawn White Oak Tung oil has not been applied yet 1 1/2" thick 850.00 + shipping The price for quarter sawn white oak is insane right now. A woodworking friend told me that the demand for white oak used for bourbon barrels is the reason. It is now more expensive than premium American Walnut. Even so, these baffles with Fast-8 or Silver-8 drivers are mind blowing when paired with a good subwoofer. Because of the medullary rays (flecks) in the quarter sawn oak, they really are beautiful. The photo doesn't do them justice. |
